Successful Outcomes
Mesch, Clark, & Rothschild, P.C. has a successful track record because attorneys and staff emphasize hard work, in-depth research, negotiation, and creative solutions. MC&R attorneys help their clients examine alternatives they might not otherwise consider.
Relatively few of MC&R’s cases reach the courtroom. Of those that do, some have established legal precedents or received national attention. One case handled by MC&R ended arbitrary strip searches in the Pima County Jail. Another established the right of employees to report, with impunity, illegal practices by their employers. MC&R litigation involving government entities, scientists and engineers have affected a myriad of construction, flooding and environmental legal issues.
MC&R representation of the City of South Tucson drew national attention because of their innovative reorganization of the city in financial crisis and because of the implications for small incorporated cities nationwide.
Teamwork
Behind the Mesch, Clark, & Rothschild, P.C. reputation for being tough litigators and creative problems solvers are attorneys and support people who work together and who believe in a shirtsleeve approach to practicing law. The emphasis is on hard work, understanding and achieving positive outcomes.
MC&R attorneys and staff believe teamwork is the best way to serve their clients. For example, a team made up of an attorney, a legal assistant and a secretary is primarily responsible for each case. This approach benefits the client in that the attorney can devote more time to project management and strategy development while the legal assistant and secretary take care of time-consuming activities, including researching the case history and preparing documents. Thus, human resources are used more efficiently, which saves the client money and allows MC&R attorneys to be available to handle the questions and concerns of clients.
Other Mesch, Clark, & Rothschild, P.C. teams are made up of attorneys who meet regularly to focus their collective wisdom and experience on the firm’s current cases. MC&R attorneys also get together informally when they need to call upon in-house experts in other practice areas.
